I struggled with severe depression for years and tried many medications with little success. I did the research and found Evolve Brain Health. I completed accelerated TMS and I feel better. I never thought I'd say that. You will not find a more kind and empathetic staff.

Get seen in days, not weeks or months.
Long waitlists, rushed visits, and a provider who does not remember your history without reading it back off a screen.
Evolve was built the other way. You get a real evaluation, a provider who stays with you, and a plan that gets adjusted when it needs adjusting. If medication alone is not getting you there, you are already inside a practice that offers more.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see a psychiatrist at Evolve?
No. Complete the online application or call us and we take it from there. Most plans in Connecticut do not require a referral for outpatient psychiatric care, and we confirm that for you before your first visit.
How soon can I be seen?
We hold evaluation appointments open every week. Most new patients are seen far sooner than the months-long waits common elsewhere in Fairfield County. Call or text (203) 504-9758 and we will tell you the first available time.
Does insurance cover psychiatric care and medication management?
Yes. We are in network with most major plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, ConnectiCare, Husky, and Medicare. We verify your specific benefits and confirm your exact cost before you start.
How much will I pay out of pocket?
For most covered patients, out-of-pocket cost is comparable to a standard specialist copay, typically between $0 and $25 per visit depending on your plan. We confirm your exact cost before your first appointment. No surprise bills.
What conditions do you treat?
Depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, panic disorder and insomnia, among others. If your situation falls outside what we treat, we will tell you when we review your application rather than after you have paid for a visit.
Will I see a psychiatrist or a nurse practitioner?
Care is delivered by our psychiatric nurse practitioners.
What happens at the first appointment?
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Your history, your symptoms, and everything you have already tried. You leave with a working diagnosis and a treatment plan, and prescriptions are sent the same day where appropriate.
What if medication hasn't worked for me before?
That is one of the main reasons patients come to us. Evolve offers FDA-cleared TMS therapy and FDA-approved Spravato in the same office, so if medication alone is not reaching your symptoms, the next option is already here and covered by most insurance.
Do I have to stop my current medication?
No. Bring your current list to the evaluation. Your provider reviews everything with you before anything changes.
You've tried waiting it out.
